This study aims to determine what kind of professional medical personnel ie doctors, midwives and nurses from the aspects of knowledge, skills and attitude situated in Padang Serai Health Center Kampung Melayu District Bengkulu. This study uses descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach and data collection done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was performed using interactive data analysis techniques of Miles and Huberman.
Based on the results of the study showed that the professionalism of the medical doctors, midwives and nurses are mostly subjective or opinion Informants have almost equal to the level of knowledge among doctors, midwives and nurses at the clinic fields lemongrass. Most informants found that in general the doctors, midwives and nurses clinic paddock lemongrass basically have sufficient knowledge for doctors, midwives and nurses who have been in the profession means he has met the standard of competence. In this study the level of knowledge of a doctor can be seen from the following: (1) educational qualification, (2) experience, and (3) the recognition and appreciation from the public. The level of knowledge of a midwife can be seen from the following: (1) educational qualification, (2) experience, and (3) the recognition and respect of the community and (4) providing services are spesalis. While knowledge of a nurse can be seen from the following: (1) educational qualification, (2) be able to analyze and synthesis, and (3) communication.
Skill here means is that someone really expert in the field or have the ability not shared by everyone. Itself is defined as a person’s ability to use the tools available to use as you wish, in work or activities that are useful for themselves or others, and also a best way to practice the knowledge that exists within the maximum. Skills typically acquired through education, training, or through inter-personal relationships as well as from the experience of everyday life. Therefore, in this study the skills of a doctor, midwife and nurse assessed from responsive (responsiveness) in providing services, the ability to quickly and accurately diagnose, and ability to provide proper treatment. Attitude is an expression of the heart caused that tends to behave in a certain way toward an object. Therefore, to measure the attitude of doctors, midwives and nurses views of the medical relationship with the patient, as well as the relationships among coworkers.
